Why I (Nina) love this recipe: Sun flower seeds are seriously yummy like this. With basil this pesto is going to be a flavor party, and add interest to a vareity of dishes. Like this on a caprese, it's perfect!
makes one jar
2 tbsp roasted pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp roasted suhnflower seeds
large handful fresh basil
pinch himalayan salt + freshly cracked pepper
1 tbsp linseed oil
2 tbsp pumpkin seed oil
optional: water if needed
1. roasted the pumpkin + sunflower seeds on low heat in a pan for a few minutes until golden.
2. Then add all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend away. If needed, add water.
